
Barbara Pressman has been an elementary school teacher, a substitute teacher, a supervisor for student teachers at Florida Atlantic University. She has done training and lecturing on the daily challenges of teaching. Help Me Hannah was written in 2021. It’s an inspiring story about a young widow, who overcomes her challenges and becomes an Advice Columnist for a struggling newspaper. Set during the Great Depression, in NYC, and written in the first person, the book touches on themes of family, loyalty, friendship, and love. She has just written a new novel for the series - Hannah’s Letters. It follows Hannah’s family through the second half the century. A fascinating new character enters the family. Her past is slowly revealed. Barbara resides in South Florida, with her husband Roger and her Havanese puppy, Zippy. She has two grown sons, and two granddaughters, who keep her very busy and happy. Her latest hobby is raising caterpillars to monarch butterflies 🦋.
