Chris Mullen

Chris Mullen is an award-winning author, award-winning teacher, and graduate of Texas A&M University from Richmond, Texas. Before writing full-time, he was a Kindergarten and PreK Teacher for 23 years telling many Rowdy adventures to his students. After signing with Wise Wolf Books in 2021, Chris has written 6 books and 2 short stories (THE HUNT, THE RIVER) in his ROWDY series. He is working on the new Cass Callahan Contemporary Western Mystery series for Wolfpack Publishing.

THE RIVER, a Rowdy story, was released on December 26, 2023, in the RIDIN' WITH THE PACK anthology from Wolfpack Publishing.

The Cass Callahan novels debuted in early 2024, beginning with DEAD LAND on January 23. KILL ORDER followed on March 19 and HUNTING EL DESPIADADO was released on May 14. More Cass Callahan novels are in the works for 2025.

ROWDY continues to grow and attract readers of all ages. WILD AND MEAN, SHARP AND KEEN is a 2023 Independent Press Distinguished Favorite, and DEAD OR ALIVE was just awarded a 2023 Will Rogers Medallion Bronze medal.
