Andrew Zimmerman

Angela Zimmerman is professor of history at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Before joining the history department at George Washington University, she completed his PhD in history at the University of California, San Diego, and was a Mellon fellow in history at the Society of Fellows in the Humanities at Columbia University. She is currently at work on a global history of the American Civil War.
