Richard Neer

Richard Neer has worked at two of the most prestigious and groundbreaking radio stations in history: the progressive rocker WNEW-FM for almost thirty years, and the nation's first full time sports talk station, WFAN, since 1988. Neer’s non-fiction “FM, the Rise and Fall of Rock Radio” is the true story of how corporate interests destroyed a medium that millions grew up listening to. He also co-founded WLIR, the first suburban progressive rock station in the country. Richard has just released "The Naked Butterfly," his latest Riley King mystery.
