John Hunt is a life-long Nebraskan, living most of it on a farm in Custer county. He received his primary education at Arcadia Public School, then enlisted with the Nebraska Army National Guard where he served twelve years. During this time he received a diploma in construction technology at Central Community College in Hastings, and then went on to study at the University of Nebraska Kearney. The writing courses at Kearney inspired his longing to document the world around him. John's intense love of nature is an underlying theme to his literary works. His experiences as a hunting and fishing guide provide scenarios to create living moments in print for all to enjoy.
