Joshua Gunn

Joshua Gunn is a Professor of Communication Studies and an Affiliate Faculty with the Department of Rhetoric and Writing, both at the University of Texas at Austin. Although he is an expert of public speaking and presentations, his scholarly work focuses on the human experience of the ineffable (or experiences we cannot put into words, such as love, religious conversion, getting goosebumps listening to music, and so on). His most recent book, /Political Perversion/, examines the strange turn to meanness in contemporary political discourse.
