Stephen Auth is a member of the Regnum Christi movement, and sits on the National Board of the Lumen Institute which he helped found in New York. He has participated in missions in Mexico, and with his wife, Evelyn, has run the on-going Regnum Christi mission in NYC for ten years. In 2011, he and Evelyn developed a spiritual tour of the New York’s Metropolitan Museum entitled, “Man’s Search for God, A History of Art Through the Prism of Faith”, which they have given successfully to dozens of small groups over the last decade.
Professionally, Steve serves as Chief Investment Officer of Federated Global Equities, as well as Executive Vice President of Federated Investors. He leads a team of more than 100 portfolio managers, analysts, and traders who manage Federated’s $60+ billion in domestic and international equity investment products. Steve has over 35 years of investment experience with Federated and previously, Prudential Investments. At Prudential, Mr. Auth led a global investment team with offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, and the United States. Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Princeton University. He received his master’s degree in business administration, with High Distinction, from Harvard University, where he was a Baker Scholar and a Loeb Rhodes Fellow. He is also a chartered financial analyst. Steve is a frequent guest and guest anchor on CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg TV, a member of The Economic Club of New York and The New York Society of Security Analysts, serves on the Council of the American University of Bulgaria, and serves on the board of the Program for Church Management developed in 2017 by Santa Croce University in conjunction with the Vatican. His second book, “The Missionary of Wall Street”, was published by the Sophia Institute Press in the spring of 2019.
