Patton Boyle grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Psychology. After two years as an officer in the Navy, he earned an M.Div. degree from Virginia Theological Seminary and was ordained as an Episcopal minister. He did two additional years of clinical training in psychiatric and general hospital settings and worked as a pastoral counselor/psychotherapist for a dozen years. He also served churches in various locations including central Mexico and Hawaii. His first novel, Screaming Hawk: The Mystic Warrior, was originally published in English, French, German and Greek. That was followed by three other novels in the Screaming Hawk series and by The Peaceable Kingdom. He has also published a short book for both children and adults entitled, The Land of Joy. A master story teller and a self-described mystic, all of his engaging novels contain deep spiritual wisdom for readers on their own spiritual journey. His books are available on Amazon in both paperback and e-book versions.

Patton and his wife live in Wenatchee, Washington where he continues to write books about spiritual development and discovery. He also sings in three choirs, skis on occasion, and enjoys camping and foreign travel.
