Paul L. King

I am a "retired" (in a manner of speaking--there is no retirement in ministry!) professor and ordained minister of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. I have been a pastor and Christian School Administrator, and 1996-2012 I served on the faculty of Oral Roberts University. As Associate Professor of Theology in Distance Learning and the ORU School of Theology and Ministry, I taught courses on Healing, Prayer, Pastoral Care, the Holy Spirit, and others. For 16 years I was the Director of the Local Church and Online Bible Institute Programs of ORU. I have also served at Scholar-at-Large for the D.Min Program of Alliance Theological Seminiary and Faculty Mentor for the Dr. Randy Clark Scholars D.Min Program at United Theological Seminary. I teach seminars internationally and interdenominationally on Ministry and Leadership Development, Eldership Training, Healing, the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, and Spiritual Warfare.

Author of 17 books, I was selected as the 2006 ORU Scholar of the Year. I taught courses on Divine Healing, Ministry and Dynamics of the Holy Spirit, Contemporary Religious Cults, and Bible Institute Education in the ORU Seminary and Doctoral programs. I hold the Doctor of Theology from the University of South Africa and the Doctor of Ministry from Oral Roberts University. I am an ordained minister, theologian, and historian of The Christian and Missionary Alliance.

I am also a cancer overcomer by the grace of God and share my testimony and lessons learned in overcoming cancer through seminars, conferences and my books God's Healing Arsenal and Creating a Healing Community. I equip people for ministry and lead people to a higher and deeper life in Christ.
