Sean Senechal

Sean Senechal, The AnimalSigner Sean is the founder of the AnimalSign Center, a college instructor, and author in Monterey County, California. At the AnimalSign Center she explores and teaches humans and animals how to enhance communication with each other, by teaching animals to sign, using a language Sean made up for the animal body. She also teaches college courses in human and animal biology and behavior, canine communication and emotion at California State University, Monterey Bay. Author of two groundbreaking books, AnimalSign To You and Dogs Can Sign, Too! she is now working on books using AnimalSign for horses and cats. An alumni of several California colleges (UCBerkeley, UCDavis, SFState, and CSUMB), she is an animal cognition expert at various conferences, and online sites and groups. Raised across the street from the Washington, DC Zoo, she now lives in Monterey County, California with her horse, dogs, and cats. Her website is www.animalsign.org.
