Bill Dixon

Bill Dixon (1943-)was born in Port Arthur, Texas, grew up in nearby Beaumont, and graduated from Lamar University in 1965. After years of free-lance writing, he published his first book, "Last Days of Last Island, The Hurricane of 1856, Louisiana's First Great Storm," in May 2009.
