Perry Binder is an award-winning author, college professor, and trainer with over twenty years of experience in business education. His interactive presentations emphasize the importance of humor, self-awareness, and preparation for personal and professional growth. He has written four books including 99 Motivators for College Success, which was selected for the Book Award Program by Randolph College in Virginia. (2016-2022) Each year, the College's Alumni Office selects and sends a special book to hundreds of rising high school seniors nationwide, who are academically strong and possess leadership potential.
In 2021, Perry received Georgia State University's Sparks Service Award, recognizing faculty who "exemplify a willingness to go the extra mile with good humor and perseverance." In 2013 and 2005, he received the Robinson College Teaching Excellence Award. In addition, he received the Dade County Bar Association's Pro Bono Award for service to individuals unable to afford legal counsel.
Perry is a former litigation attorney and radio talk show host who frequently appears in the media, including USA Today, Associated Press, The New York Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Financial Times, The Christian Science Monitor, Investor's Business Daily, AP Radio, CBS Radio, Court TV Radio, and ESPN Classic.
Perry is an active member of The Florida Bar and a graduate of SUNY Buffalo Law School and Binghamton University.
