Jed Niederer

Jed Niederer & Germaine Porche released their book, "COACH ANYONE ABOUT ANYTHING, Volume 2: HOW TO EMPOWER LEADERS AND HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEAMS" on September 28, 2010. This book won the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Silver Award in the Business Category, May 23, 2011. Their first book, "Volume 1, Coach Anyone About Anything: How to Help People Succeed in Business and Life", was among Amazon's Best 100 Business Books in 2003 (second edition was released February 17, 2010).

Jed is Vice President of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Leadership Development for National Oilwell Varco (NOV), a Fortune 500 company with 33,000 employees. He is accountable for NOV's HSE professional development programs worldwide. Jed invented the AboveView hard hat and NOV holds the patent and trademark. AboveView is the only hard hat with a replaceable see-through visor that gives the wearer 50% more upward peripheral vision. Launched by NOV's partner, Bullard Industries who invented the hard hat in 1919, AboveView is state-of-the-art in 2017.

Jed has been a Lecturer at Rice University in the Practice of Executive Education, Jones Graduate School of Business, Houston, Texas.

Prior to his career with National Oilwell Varco he co-founded Eagle's View Consulting, Inc. with Germaine Porche, MSOD, serving numerous clients in a variety of industries in 16 countries. Germaine continues to steer Eagle's View Consulting specializing in coaching executives and organizations to achieve extraordinary business results. Germaine is also a Lecturer at Rice University for the School of Engineering teaching Leadership Coaching to Masters Engineering students.

Jed has educated and coached executives, managers, teams and entrepreneurs in breakthrough performance for over 35 years. A skillful program deliverer and developer, he has facilitated courses and workshops in sales, sales management, sales coaching, personal effectiveness, communication, and leadership for more than 100,000 people in the US, Canada, Europe (including Russia), India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore, China, South America, South Africa & Australia.

Jed holds degrees in Communications and Advertising from the University of Washington and a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) degree from The American College. He is proud to have served in the United States Army Transportation Corps as an officer and aviator during 1971 - 1972.

Jed and his wife, Germaine, have been volunteer mentors for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Montgomery County Youth Services Program. They reside in Houston, Texas with their dog, Mitzie. They enjoy running, traveling, reading, cartooning, friends and spoiling their nieces and nephews.
