GHEORGHE (Ghiţă) (George) MURESAN is a well-known and beloved basketball persona. At 7 foot 7 inches, he is the tallest man to play ball in the NBA. Gheorghe played for both the Washington Bullets and the New Jersey Nets and he led the NBA in field goal percentage during the 1996-1997 season.
