Fergus Cannan

A descendant of Rob Roy MacGregor and Robert the Bruce, Fergus Cannan-Braniff is a historian. He worked at the Victoria & Albert Museum, leads the living history group the Greensand Rangers, works with film companies, and now teaches religion and philosophy at The Skinners’ School, Royal Tunbridge Wells. The author of nearly 50 publications, he is currently working on his new book, “The Gaelic World at War: Soldiers & Soldiering in Ireland 1366-1541”.
