Richard L. Alexander, B.S., Cornell University (Systems Ecology), co-founded Origamido Studio with Michael G. LaFosse in 1996. After leaving a career in environmental biology, chemistry, and industrial training, he has worked with LaFosse to advance the recent art of origami through making custom handmade papers with other origami artists. He began videotaping LaFosse's original designs in 1991, and has authored / co-authored over 50 publications including printed pamphlet kits, hardcover books, and video origami and papermaking instructions.
