Chris Armstrong is Professor of Political Theory in the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Southampton, where he has worked since 2005. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Durham, a masters degree from the London School of Economics, and a PhD from the University of Bristol. He has been a visiting fellow at the University of Uppsala, the University of Oxford, and the Australian National University. He works on the political theory of global justice, natural resources, and biodiversity conservation, as well as the politics of the ocean.
