Lesley Williams

Originally from Oxfordshire, Lesley’s first experience of the Lake District fells was as a teenager. With a lifelong passion for walking, trekking and, more recently, cycle touring, Lesley has been Cicerone’s marketing director for over 20 years, leading Cicerone’s sales and marketing efforts. Based on the edge of the Lake District, she and husband Jonathan relish every opportunity to spend happy (and sometimes very cold and wet) days on the fells, or on bikes in the nearby Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. When not walking close to home, Lesley has walked and trekked in many parts of the UK including several national trails, and has completed many long-distance routes in Europe, including alpine treks of the Tour of Mont Blanc, Chamonix to Zermatt, the GR5, the Alpine Pass Route (Swiss Via Alpina1), Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites, and other routes in France, Spain and Italy.
