Peter Deadman has spent over fifty years exploring the connections between health, nature, and human potential. A pioneer in natural living, he co-founded Infinity Foods, one of the UK's most respected natural food stores, before dedicating himself to the study and practice of Chinese medicine. As a practitioner, lecturer, and author, he has written extensively on health, longevity, and mind-body cultivation, with highly regarded works including A Manual of Acupuncture, Live Well Live Long: Teachings from the Chinese Nourishment of Life Tradition, and Qigong: Cultivating Body, Breath and Mind.
Now, with his young adult novel Juice, Peter steps into the world of fiction, blending his deep respect for nature with a passion for storytelling. His writing is driven by a lifelong commitment to protecting the planet and inspiring future generations to live with awareness, curiosity, and compassion.
Beyond writing, Peter finds joy in hiking, cooking, dancing, and immersing himself in music—especially the timeless songs of Bob Dylan. He has also built a yurt, where he spends time reflecting, connecting with nature, and welcoming fellow travellers on their own journeys of discovery.
