Barbara J. Mayfield, MS, RDN, FAND, is a nutrition educator and communicator. As President of Nutrition Communicator, LLC, Barb specializes in leading other nutrition professionals to create and deliver compelling messages that are evidence-based, meaningful, memorable, and motivating. She is Editor-in-Chief for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics's book: Communicating Nutrition: The Authoritative Guide, leading a team of 57 nutrition experts. Barb taught nutrition communications at Purdue University for 16 years and has authored several textbooks and nutrition curricula for audiences of all ages.
