关于作者

JOHN T. DAVIS is a longtime author and journalist who lives in Austin, Texas. He has spent the past three decades writing about the people and culture of Texas and the Southwest for local, regional and national publications. Among his non-fiction works are a history of the PBS television series Austin City Limits and a biography of the West Texas trio The Flatlanders. More of Davis' work can be found on his website, www.johntonline.com When not committing journalism, Davis teamed up with two longtime friends (writing as "Miles Arceneaux") to produce a series of thrillers set on the Texas Gulf Coast. Of Thin Slice of Life, the first novel in the series, Kirkus Reviews said, "(It's) a hold-onto-your-seat cinematic narrative." For more information on the series, log onto www.milesarecenaux.com. In 2020, Davis teamed up with fellow Texas author Manning Wolfe to write Loser's Gumbo, the 13th volume of the acclaimed Bullet Book series of thrillers. Set in the backroads, honky-tonks and vibrant Cajun culture of South Louisiana and East Texas, Loser's Gumbo finds Mack Mouton, a journeyman musician, embroiled in murder, suspense and an old family secret that won't stay buried.
