Adrian Flynn is the writer of a wide range of plays for young people, which have been performed and studied all over the world. These include the award-winning 'Burning Everest' and 'The White Rose and the Swastika' - the true story of a German student group that rebelled against the Nazis. More recently he has written an adaptation of Marcus Sedgwick's novel 'My Swordhand is Singing' and, in May 2017, 'The Brotherhood of Smoke', a Victorian detective story set at the opening of the Crystal Palace in 1851 for the Great Exhibition. Since 1998, he has also been a regular scriptwriter for The Archers on Radio 4, for whom he co-wrote 'The Archers Encyclopaedia' with Joanna Toye.
