Jennifer A. Rea’s love of ancient Rome began when she was five years old and her parents took her to see the Coliseum. She writes about legendary figures from antiquity. Her first book, Legendary Rome, explores the story of Rome's founder, Romulus and the legends surrounding the origins of the city of Rome. Her second book, Perpetua's Journey, tells the story of a Christian martyr, Perpetua, who kept a diary about the days that led up to her martyrdom.
