Nick Waites

Nick Waites is an experienced aikido instructor of 6th dan rank in the Komyokan Aikido Association. He was a published author of several Information Technology textbooks before writing his first Aikido book, "Iron Balls and Elbow Power". The second edition renamed "Aikido, Iron Ball and Elbow Power", now available as an e-book as well as a paperback, explores a range of Aikido principles and training methods using semi-fictional experiences of a student training with an Aikido master. He lives with his Russian wife in a converted chapel which contains his dojo as well as his living quarters.
