关于作者

Yvette Stanton is an Australian embroidery author and teacher. She specialises in writing stitch dictionaries and books about historical whitework embroidery. She is the author of "Elegant Hardanger Embroidery", "Mountmellick Embroidery: Inspired by Nature", "Ukrainian Drawn Thread Embroidery: Merezhka Poltavska", "The Left-Handed Embroiderer's Companion: A step-by-step stitch dictionary" and "The Right-Handed Embroiderer's Companion: A step-by-step stitch dictionary". In 2000, Yvette won the Nordic Needle Annual Hardanger Design Contest. Yvette regularly teaches embroidery in shops and guild groups around Australia. As a left-hander, she loves the reactions of left-handed students when they find out that for this class they have a left-handed teacher! She is an accredited tutor with the Embroiderers' Guild of NSW. Yvette also contributes projects and articles to embroidery magazines such as "Inspirations", "Piecework" and "Embroidery and Cross Stitch Magazine".
