Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D. is cofounder of The Center for Mindful Living in West Los Angeles. He is author of Uncovering Happiness: Overcoming Depression with Mindfulness and Self-Compassion, The Now Effect: How this Moment Can Change the Rest of Your Life, Mindfulness Meditations for the Anxious Traveler and co-author of A Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workbook, Foreword by Jon Kabat-Zinn and MBSR Everyday: Daily Practices from the Heart of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. He has designed the award winning Mindfulness at Work program for eMindful.com and co-developed the CALM (Connecting Adolescents to Learning Mindfulness) program for teens with his wife Dr. Stefanie Goldstein. He has also designed the bestselling program Basics in Mindfulness Meditation: A 28 Day Program. His previous popular CDs include Mindful Solutions for Stress, Anxiety and Depression, Mindful Solutions for Addiction and Relapse Prevention, Mindful Solutions for Success and Stress Reduction at Work, and Mindful Solutions for Adults with ADD/ADHD. He is author of the popular blog Mindfulness and Psychotherapy on Psychcentral.com, and writes for the Huffington Post and Mentalhelp.net. He has also designed the 12-Week program Mindfulness at Work that is currently being run in many multinational corporations. He synthesizes the pearls of traditional psychotherapy with a progressive integration of mindfulness to achieve mental and emotional healing.
