关于作者

I am a history buff and a music lover and the author of some rather diverse books. My latest is Southern Crossroads: Georgia Blues, an exploration of the history of blues music in Georgia and the vibrant blues scene in the state today. Beore that was Sex Sells; Women in Photography and Film. and myy most popular book, The Irish Slaves, a non-fiction look at an almost forgotten part of history. The next most recent is Haunted Marietta, part of The History Press's Haunted America series. Because I love the blues and write about them online, I wrote Southern Crossroads: Georgia Blues and a book about blues women because I don't think either the Georgia blues musicians or the blues women get enough attention,The book about blues women is T'ain't Nobody's Business If I Do. The only thing that binds my books together is my interest in history and people, living or dead! People ask me why I write books and I tell them that when I can't find enough books about something I am interested in, I write one. Aside from writing, I am married, with two grown kids, a son and a daughter, and a gaggle of grandkids. My husband and I live in Marietta, GA with our cats ,Lily and Puppy (yes, our cat is named Puppy.)
