Dan Savery Raz

Dan Savery Raz is a travel journalist, who also loves to write poetry and fiction. Born in England and based in Tel Aviv, he is co-author of a number of Lonely Planet books including the Israel and the Palestinian Territories guide and has written for BBC Travel, Haaretz and the Times of Israel. His poetry has been published in Private Photo Review and his short stories in Jewish Fiction. In 2011 he published The Last Stanza, a poetry anthology for African refugees in Tel Aviv. The Qwerty Man, his debut novel, was published in 2017 and in 2023 he wrote the children's travel book Rhyme Travels: A Guide to the World in Rhyme.
