History is my passion. I enjoy learning new facts about the past and then relating them to others in a compelling and instructive manner.

My historical novel Down The River is based on a real event that happened to my family in the year 1813. Although I have fictionalized the story, it sticks to the historical record as much as is known. This story resulted in two sequels, Trace of Hope and Taste of Freedom. Grey Gold follows another character into the American Civil War.

I have authored and co-authored seven books and a video documentary on Pacific Northwest History.
