Keith Pratt, MS, MA, PhD Keith has previously served as the Dean of Distance Learning and Educational Technology at Northwest Arkanasas Community College, the second largest Community College in Arkansas. He also served as a Senior Project Manager for Datatel, Inc. the second largest provider of Educational Administrative software in the U.S. Keith has also served as the IT Director at several colleges and has developed and implemented Technology Programs in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Keith retired from the Air Force after 22 years as a Computer Systems Engineer and worked with many organizations such as the National Security Agency, Department of the Navy, Department of the Army, and the Coast Guard just to name a few. Keith has also had the privilege and honor of serving on Air Force One as a technical supervisor and senior lead technician. As a Distance Learning Consultant Keith has worked with many insitutions such as University of North Dakota, University of South Dakota, University of Georgia Board of Regents, Penn State, Bowling Green, USC, SUNY, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, University of Alaska, Embry Riddle, Texas Womens College and a conglomerate of 18 technical schools in South Carolina, just to name a few. He has also worked and consulted with several organizations to include AMD, University Health Network (Toronto General Hospital), Lee Hecht Harrison and the Ohio Learning Network. Keith has also co-authored seven books, the first of which won the Frandson Award for most significant contribution to Adult Continuing Education Litreature for the past ten years, presented by ACCE. These books are currently being used by many online institutions as text books in their online classes and as training materials for faculty development. Keith has co-developed and delivered over 300 presentations, workshops, round tables and expert panels at many conferences to include Sloan-C, Leagure for Innovation, Madison DL Conference and the Distance Learning conference for FCCJ. Keith has also has also been the Keynote Speaker at many of these same conferences. He is also the co-author of over forty book chapters, journal articles and delivered papers on the topic of DL. Keith is considered one of the world’s leading experts in the field of Distance Learning. He holds an MA and PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate University and an MS in Human Resource Management and Development from Chapman University. Keith also has an Honorary Doctorate in Economics from Moscow State University, Russia.
