John Lee Brook (JLB) splits his time between Montana and Northern California. At the present juncture, he is working on a book about the United Blood Nation a.k.a. the East Coast Bloods. His study of the Mexican drug cartels and Santa Muerte led him to strange places, where he met hard men with strange beliefs. JLB lives the high-life when in San Francisco and lives the low-life (more disciplined) when in Montana. During the winter months, on any given Saturday, you will find him at the Buena Vista Café, sipping Irish Coffees. He used to keep a bird as a pet, but now has a boa constrictor named Bob. He writes seated in the garage, while smoking cigars.
