Janae B. Weinhold PhD

Janae Weinhold has her PhD in Developmental Psychology, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. A clinical specialist in developmental psychology, she has authored or co-authored ten books in this field, several of which have been translated into Russian, French, and Hungarian.

Dr. Weinhold’s professional work history includes offering developmentally-oriented psychotherapy services; co-directing two institutes; creating an internationally distributed Trauma-Informed Care Training curriculum; serving in academia as Adjunct Professor and Dean of a self-directed PhD program; working as trainer, presenter, consultant and mentor for Ukrainian university; offering international seminars on developmental psychology for Russian-speaking audiences; and conducting ongoing research regarding the impact of developmental and epigenetic trauma on the evolution of groups, cultures, nations, and humans as a species.
