Thomas E. Crocker is a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia University Law School. From 1975-81 he served as a Foreign Service Officer specializing in West European politico-military issues. For many years he was a partner in a large national law firm, Alston & Bird LLP, where he co-headed the International Trade & Regulatory practice group. In addition to Empire's Eagles-- The Fate of the Napoleonic Elite in America, Mr. Crocker is also the author of Captain Hale's Covenant (Lanham: Mc Book Press/Rowman & Littlefield 2022, ISBN 9781493066216) and Braddock's March: How the Man Sent To Seize a Continent Changed American History (Yardley: Westholme Publishing 2009, ISBN 9781594160967), which received the 2011 Distinguished Book Award from both the New York and District of Columbia Societies of Colonial Wars.
