Dougal Jerram

Thanks for looking me up. I am currently running DougalEARTH Ltd. and a 20% Professor at the Centre for Earth Evolution and Dynamics at the University of Oslo. I am involved in Earth Science writing, consultancy, research, media and teaching, particularly of field geology. Keen on skiing, volcano seeking and classic cars, I spend much of my time seeking out adventures around the world, but can always be found at:

My current books are full of colour and provide valuable resources for information about volcanoes and igneous rocks. I hope to have more books soon :-)

In recognition of my early significant contribution to Earth Sciences he

was awarded the Murchison Fund of the Geological Society in 2006.

Recently I have developed a keen eye for science outreach, and have appeared on national and international TV (BBC, Discovery, National Geographic, History Channel, Channel 4) promoting aspects of the Earth, and have developed a popular web presence on dougalearth.com and youtube.
