I've been called an "awesome astrologer" and "clear communicator" for my whole career, so finally getting to publish a book has been a total blast! Although I know a whole lot of neat things about astrology and people, my greatest joy is sharing what I know to as wide an audience as possible, using language they understand. "Lovecasts" is my first book, and it's all about relationships. My theory about how people get along is that no matter what sign they might be, they can find ways to understand each other and find happiness through their love. Based on astrology, there are ways we can learn about how our relationship partners think, feel, act and dream. We also can come to understand ourselves better by considering the traits of our signs, and seeing where our own personalities need to be tweaked in order to meet the needs of the ones we want to be with. To use "Lovecasts", all you need is your birthday and the birthday of the person you're interested in. Even if you're still out there looking for that special someone, you can see what it might be like to date people from different signs. "Lovecasts" is written for women about men, but men can learn a lot from it, too. Whatever gender you might be grab your own copy and wow the one you want with uncanny perceptions about what makes the two of you click, and do all the things it takes to be happily together! A little more about me... I have studied astrology seriously for about 30 years now. It was my hobby from the time I was a kid, and the more I studied, the more I wanted to know. I got to be a full time astrologer when I quit the corporate world to raise my son. I've always been rather good at speaking and writing, and with the encouragement of the right teachers, I learned to hone my skills so I could make a living with my talents. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Carnegie Mellon and a Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. My Certification as a Consulting Astrologer comes from the National Council for Geocosmic Research Professional Astrologers' Alliance, and I often muse that it took more work to get that than it took to earn my Master's Degree. After 30 years living in New York City as an IT communications analyst and specialist as well as an astrologer, I've moved back to Pittsburgh to enjoy a more relaxed pace in a city filled with creative, active people! I teach, I speak and I write and write and write! You may have read horoscopes either researched or written by me in Marie Claire Magazine, Tarot.com, seventeen.com, aol.com, Redbook, Mademoiselle, AstroGirl!, and cosmo.com, to name a few. I'm so lucky to know great editors and friends who have given me such fabulous opportunities. I've appeared on TV and radio, and love communicating that way almost as much as I enjoy writing. I also cherish the work I do with private clients, as I assist them in finding their ways through life. Astrology is such a powerful force when it comes to finding and determining the path we should be on. It can help us discover our talents and unleash our passions so we can be the best human beings possible. As a Cancer woman, motherhood is very dear to me, and I have a fantastic son who attends college near to my new home. I also care for my mom and enjoy being around some other members of my family. I have great friends all over the world, with a few special ones who are even closer to me than some of my family members. I love to play golf and go for long walks, but when I really want to unleash the wild woman in my soul, I jump into a kayak and paddle away! There's a lot of water here in Pittsburgh to paddle through, but by far my favorite kayaking is in Coastal Maine, where I like to spend at least part of every summer.
