Hilary Bird

Hilary Bird (nee Anneliis Meikar) is an Anglo-Estonian scholar, journalist , writer and translator. Hilary was born and adopted in the UK but has lived in Estonia since 2002. She has BA (Hons) and MSc degrees from the UK and two diplomas (Baltic Studies and Estonian Language) from the University of Tartu. Hilary has been a writer since 2005 and has a wide portfolio of publication that includes the domains of academe, popular science and journalism.
