Bobby Martini

Author Bobby Martini is a former cop, a one-time amateur boxer, a teamster for films and television, a stuntman and lifelong resident of Somerville Massachusetts. He has been intimately linked to Boston's infamous gang leader Howie Winter and the Winter Hill Gang since childhood. His father ran Winter's Marshall Street Garage operation and chose a prison sentence rather than the opportunity for immunity in exchange for information about the Gang's activities. Martini himself was unsuccessfully recruited to carry out a gangland execution and is personally acquainted with members of the Boston underworld. In CITIZEN SOMERVILLE he utilizes his own history to open the locked door to a secret world for the reader. Elayne Keratsis (EK) is a film and television producer. Currently residing in Miami, Florida, she is a former Massachusetts resident who has been around the world with film crews and on the road directing professional wrestling. She is a lifelong scribe who took her inspiration for writing and love of words from the eclectic combination of childhood favorite HARRIET THE SPY and the adult provocateur Charles Bukowski. EK is the co-producer of USA Network's hit TV series BURN NOTICE. She is the co-author of CITIZEN SOMERVILLE: Growing Up With The Winter Hill Gang.
