Kenneth M. O'Gorman is a life-long musician who plays saxophone/trumpet and selectively teaches jazz improvisation. He has written many music books and backing tracks. He is also an IT professional with decades of experience. FUN MUSIC FACTS: Ken was "forced" to join the musicians union in 10th grade, for taking pay gigs on their "turf". He trained at Settlement Music School, as did notable musicians Joey DeFrancesco, actor Kevin Bacon and physicist Albert Einstein. He played trumpet in the Settlement Jazz Combo with Grammy-nominated Jazz Organist, Joey DeFrancesco. He also performed for several US Presidents while serving over 6 yrs in three US Army Bands. Ken appeared as an extra in the John Travolta film, "Blowout", and also performed "Elvira" live with The Oak Ridge Boys in 1982 at Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, Ken inspired the blowgun-wielding character "Ogorm" in the Tenebrea series written by friend/mentor/author Dan Graham and Star Trek:Voyager's Roxanne Dawson.
