LB Sedlacek is the author of several collections of poetry. Her most recent poetry books are "Organic Soup" published by Bottlecap Press and "Unresponsive Sky" published by Purple Unicorn Press. Other poetry books include "Words and Bones" (Finishing Line Press), "The Architect of French Fries" (Presa Press), and "The Poet Next Door" (Cyberwit Press). She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for the title poem in "Unresponsive Sky" and has also been nominated for Best of

the Net in poetry. She has had several short stories and poems published in the college literary magazine, "Branches," winning 1st Place Prose awards for her stories "Sight Unseen" and "Backwards Wink." She is also best known for her Thomas Wolfe memorial prize nominated mystery book "The Glass River," set in Happy Valley, as well as for "The Mailbox of the Kindred Spirit" romance story set at the iconic mailbox off Sunset Beach. LB also has three short story collections: "The Jackalope Committee and Other Tales," "The Renovator and Motor Addiction," and "Four Thieves of Vinegar & Other Short Stories" all published by Alien Buddha Press. She served as New Media Editor and Poetry Editor for "ESC! Magazine" and co-hosted the small press podcast "Coffee House to Go" with Michael Potter for several years. LB also enjoys swimming and reading.
