There's a support group for people who talk too much, called "On-and-on-and-on-anon". It is said that I'm a charter member, and that's why I write! The writing has birthed a podcast, called "All Grown Up Now", which you can locate by going to: allgrownupnow.com Though writing isn't the only thing I do (fashion is really my game), it's a great pleasure, and flattering when people ask me to do it for money. The non-fiction titles you'll see here are the result of that. However, my memoir, "All Grown Up Now" started as a collection of stories that I used to tell to customers during fittings, to amuse and distract them from the fact that I was invading their personal space. Writing these stories down helped me make sense of a pivotal friendship in my life and evolved into this book. It was a form of talk therapy that metastasized into All Grown Up Now. I offer it here for you to enjoy. While I have written many articles for Threads magazine as well as Designer Techniques (Sterling Publishing, 1996), Designer Bead Embroidery (Quarto Publishing, 2006), Cool Couture (Creative Publishing, 2008), and eleven self-published books on CD covering different couture garment construction topics. All Grown Up Now (CreateSpace 2012) is my first effort in another genre.
