George Steinmetz

George Steinmetz is a historical sociologist and sociological historian who has been a tenured professor at the University of Chicago and the New School for Social Research and a visiting Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton) and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (Paris). He is currently the Charles Tilly Professor of Sociology at the University of Michigan
