Charles "Brian" Smith (1973-current) was born in Dallas, Texas and later lived in parts of Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky. Currently he resides in Paducah, Kentucky. Since early childhood Charles was involved in many creative efforts. Sketching, painting, pencils, cinematography and film-making, only in recent years did he turn to writing as an art form.
