Sue Seibert

Sue Seibert was born in Stephenville, Texas, to John and Rose Ficke. She studied education at the University of North Texas and Tarleton State University and holds a B.S. and a MEd. She studied journalism at the University of Tennessee and Christian education at Scarrett College. She is married to musician and photographer Raf Seibert. They have three daughters, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She has taught special education and English in public school and journalism and photography at the junior college level. She has written columns for local newspapers and a genealogy/history column for the North Texas Star, as well a Reflections column in the Mineral Wells Index. She draws, paints, and embroiders, and she and Raf have now published three novels in the Painted Post Mysteries series. They are modern mysteries set in Palo Pinto County, Texas.
