Elizabeth Wenk

I have hiked, climbed, and explored wild places since childhood, with a particular passion for the Sierra Nevada and southwestern US. I am forever curious about the natural world, always seeking to learn more and impart enthusiasm and knowledge on others.

I have combined these interests in my employment, as a writer, scientist, and teacher. As a mother I am now introducing my two young daughters to the joys of camping, backpacking, walking, and staring at the world around them.
