Mariana Vernieri

Mariana Vernieri was born in Buenos Aires in 1977. She moved to Uruguay in 2001 and currently lives in the United States, where she completed two master's degrees. She is an industrial engineer by profession. Multipotentialite, entrepreneur, digital artist, and director of numerous internet projects. Besides, she is a registered Patent Agent working with inventors around the world to help them bring their innovative dreams alive. Her literature, of her own indelible stamp, invites to an exciting immersion experience into the inner world, dreams and the mind and the journeys of souls through time and history. Fiction, history, and her own family genealogy merge in Mariana's literary creations, giving rise to the particular psychological magic that characterizes them. A student of the world of dreams since 1994, Mariana has been one of the first people to bring the concepts of Lucid Dreaming to the Spanish language through the creation of the notorious "Lucid Dreaming Portal". She is also well known for her contributions to the field of introversion and happiness. She is the author of numerous articles on introversion, happiness, lucid dreaming, and other topics in psychology, science, philosophy, and theology, as well as short stories and works of fiction. Mariana is currently writing her second novel, in which she combines the amazing love story of her own ancestors -Ermessenda of Castellbó and Roger Bernard of Foix- with the feat of freedom and resistance of the Cathars of Languedoc against the oppressive imperial powers of France and the Inquisition of the 13th century.
