Dr. Matt Williams is professor and department chair of New Testament at Biola University, Talbot School of Theology, where he was awarded professor of the year in 2004. He has a broad ministry experience, including 6 years as a missionary professor to the Spanish Bible Institute and Seminary in Barcelona, Spain. He previously taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Trinity International University and North Park University and Seminary. He teaches and preaches at various churches and conferences throughout the U.S. and Spain. He is editor and contributor for various Bible studies that have sold over 200,000 copies: Gospel of John and Deeper Connections: The Parables of Jesus, The Miracles of Jesus, The Prayers of Jesus, Forgiveness of Jesus, Life of Jesus, and Last Days of Jesus (https://www.hendricksonrose.com/page/wl/hr/hr-dvd-bible-studies/hr-deeper-connections), along with What the New Testament Authors Really Cared About: A Survey of the New Testament Writings. He is also general editor for Colección Teológica Contemporánea, Comentarios Biblicos con Aplicacion: NVI, and Biblioteca Teológica Vida, three series of biblical and theological books translated into Spanish, which have sold more than 100,000 copies. He has written Two Gospels from One: A Thorough Examination of the Text-Critical Argument for the Synoptic Problem, co-authored The Synoptic Gospels, and has authored articles for Journal of Higher Criticism, Agenda Teológica, Kairós, and Trinity Journal. He has contributed chapters to La Epístola a los Gálatas; The Synoptic Problem: Three Views of Gospel Origins; and Historians of the Christian Tradition.
