Dr. Rebecca Small is the editor and author of several medical texts including: Dermatologic and Cosmetic Procedures in Office Practice, The Essential Guide to Primary Care Procedures, A Practical Guide to Botulinum Toxin Procedures and A Practical Guide to Dermal Filler Procedures which are part of Lippincott’s Cosmetic Procedure series. Prior to medical writing, Dr. Small lectured and led aesthetic workshops nationwide including conferences with the University of California, San Francisco and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Small is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and Cambridge University in England. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF School of Medicine and the Director of Medical Aesthetic Training at Natividad Medical Center, where she trains physicians in medical aesthetic procedures. For the last 7 years, she has been integral to the California Youth Delinquency Program, providing complimentary laser tattoo removal for at-risk youths seeking a new start. Dr. Small has a private practice in Northern California.
