Shafik Meghji

Shafik Meghji is an award-winning travel writer, journalist and author of Crossed off the Map: Travels in Bolivia. He has worked on all seven continents, but specialises in Latin America and South Asia. Shafik has co-authored more than 40 guidebooks for Rough Guides and DK Eyewitness, and writes for the likes of BBC Travel, Wanderlust and Lonely Planet. Based in South London, he is a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers and a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
