Sheila Annie Peters

Sheila Annie Peters (1962-) was born in Chennai, India. After completing PhD in Chemistry in 1990 from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, she served in the academia for nearly 10 years, after which she worked in the Pharmaceutical industry in UK and Sweden, gaining vast experience in Drug Discovery and Development, Modelling and Simulations, Physiologically-based Pharmacokinetic (PBPK)-PD modelling, Pharmacokinetics, Drug metabolism and drug-drug interaction. At Astrazeneca, where she currently works, she has developed a generic whole-body PBPK model and has supported several Drug Discovery and Development projects across different R&D sites with scientific input, encouraging project leaders to benefit from the application of PBPK models.
