Maria Popova

Prof Maria Popova teaches political science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Her research and writing analyzes democracy, autocracy, rule of law and anticorruption reforms in the post-Communist region, with a focus on Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Russia. She often comments on current developments in the Russo-Ukrainian war for the media.
